Honda is refreshing its Odyssey minivan for the 2025 model yr, bringing several updates that aim to boost its appeal to families. The fifth-generation Odyssey, which debuted in 2018 and received a facelift in 2021, now boasts recent styling elements, advanced technology, and a more streamlined trim level structure. As is typical with such updates, there’s also a rise within the vehicle’s price.

The outside of the 2025 Odyssey encompasses a sportier grille with black surrounds and bigger fog lights, giving it a more dynamic look. On the rear, the bumper integrates vertical reflectors, a nod to the now-discontinued Acura NSX. Moreover, all trim levels include newly designed wheels, with the top-tier Odyssey Elite sporting machine-finished 19-inch wheels. The colour options have been expanded to incorporate Solar Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl.

Inside, the updates proceed with a normal seven-inch digital instrument cluster and an enhanced nine-inch touchscreen for the bottom model, which is an inch larger than before. This recent infotainment system is quicker, due to a more powerful processor, and includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, together with additional USB-C ports for each front and rear passengers.

Higher trims, comparable to the Touring and Elite, are equipped with a brand new rear-seat entertainment system featuring a 12.8-inch screen, replacing the previous 10.2-inch unit. This method also includes an HDMI port situated contained in the console, which has been designed to accommodate a streaming device.

The value adjustments for the 2025 Odyssey are as follows: the bottom EX model has been discontinued, making the EX-L the brand new entry-level option at $43,315, up $610 from the previous yr. The Sport-L, formerly referred to as Sport, is priced at $44,465, a $355 increase. The Touring trim now costs $48,005, reflecting a $1,110 increase. The highest-of-the-line Elite is priced at $52,275, up $510.

Under the hood, the 2025 Odyssey retains its 3.5-liter V-6 engine, producing 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Notably, in Japan, Honda offers an Odyssey with a hybrid powertrain featuring a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a CVT, delivering a combined output of 212 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque.

The updated 2025 Odyssey shall be available at Honda dealerships across the US starting July 23.
