G3 Vehicle Auctions has invested in two experienced auctioneers after snapping up the 14-acre Cazoo wholesale facility in Bedford.
Starting this week, sales days will probably be Monday, Wednesday and Friday, mirroring the G3 Castleford centre, with Monday offering the Essential sale, Wednesday offering the LCV and Economy sale and Friday offering the Elite fleet sale.
This significantly enhances G3’s operational footprint, enabling the corporate to double its remarketing capability and streamline services for a broader range of clients.
In May, G3 acquired the Bedford Cazoo wholesale site ahead of failed motor retailer Cazoo calling in administrators to try to seek out a buyer for its remaining used automobile marketplace business.
Established in 2009 by Matthew Dale and Amanda Holtby, G3 Vehicle Auctions was created to launch a digital auction at a time when physical was all of the industry knew, and because the business grew it opened its first physical auction property at Castleford in 2020.
Michael Bearder joins G3 Vehicle Auctions as senior auctioneer, bringing with him 15 years of experience from industry rivals reminiscent of BCA and Manheim.
Bearder most recently held the position as sales operation manager at BCA leading its national auctioneer team.
G3 said his extensive knowledge and expertise will probably be invaluable in supporting the sales events at each its auction centres, driving up conversion rates, and fostering strong relationships with each buyers and vendors.
Bearder will probably be on the podium to supply fresh stock from Leasys UK because the headline vendor for G3 Bedford’s Elite Sale on Friday 28 June at 12pm.
Sam Magee also joins G3 Vehicle Auctions as an LCV auctioneer with over 17 years of experience within the remarketing industry.
Specializing in the LCV sale at G3’s recent Bedford branch, Magee is a strategic hire to create dedicated LCV sale events at each centres.
Most recently holding the pinnacle of LCV role at City Auction Group, Magee previously served as a bunch auctioneer for Manheim for seven years, preceding his 10 years at BCA.
Magee will launch the brand new LCV focused sale event at G3 Bedford starting on Wednesday 26 June at 11am with Dawson Group, AVIS and Sanctuary Group on offer.
