Close Brothers Motor Finance has promoted Clare Bradley to the position of economic director and Neil Leonard as its recent marketing director.

Bradley was formerly director of sales optimisation (retail) and Leonard was formerly head of selling.

Bradley, who has been with CBMF for six years, has previously held senior sales and industrial roles in various industries, including media and technology, before moving into the automotive sector.

At Close Brothers Motor Finance, she has played a key part in constructing a brand new sales optimisation function, together with developing CBMF’s CRM/Salesforce capability.

In her recent role she is going to tackle the responsibility of leading the product team, working to deliver CBMF’s product roadmap and to successfully embed recent products into the business.

Prior to joining CBMF in 2016, Leonard spent 10 years at Allianz, which he joined through their graduate programme.

In his eight years at Close Brothers Motor Finance, he has driven strong results across all of Close Brothers’ key business metrics, expanding capabilities across brand, digital and communications.

As marketing director Leonard will proceed to grow these capabilities over the following 12 months and beyond.

Bradley said: “Trying to the longer term, it’s a real source of pleasure to give you the chance to assist construct our product strategy alongside a really talented group of colleagues.

“I’m enthusiastic about combining our traditional strengths and developing them into recent capabilities.

“In my time at CBMF I actually have witnessed real growth and development within the business and I stay up for helping to shape the industrial and product technique to its full potential – for colleagues, partners and our end customers.”

Leonard said: “Now greater than ever, CBMF continues to evolve and adapt to our ever changing markets, and I’m looking forward to playing a key role in helping the business to proceed on this journey. 

“Since I joined CBMF in 2016, I’ve all the time been impressed with how the business centres every thing it does around its colleagues, customers and partners.

“Through the years, we’ve adapted and evolved at pace, introducing recent technologies, enhanced our proposition and strengthened our brand within the markets we elect to operate in.

“We’ve many opportunities ahead of us, each internally and externally, and that’s what keeps me excited in regards to the future at CBMF.”

Seán Kemple, chief executive of Motor UK and Retail Finance Ireland, added: “Credit is resulting from each Neil and Clare for his or her exemplary work keeping the wheels spinning in each the sales and marketing departments through the years.

“It’s a testament to our company values, expertise and excellent company culture that lots of our colleagues are celebrating such impressive milestones.”
