Bentley just dropped what it’s calling essentially the most dynamic film in its history, and it’s precisely the form of unexpected energy you must see from a brand known for polished grand touring. Titled Supersports: FULL SEND, the brand new video stars Travis Pastrana turning the Bentley campus in Crewe, England into his own playground, threading a brand new Supersports through the factory grounds with the type of precision drifting you normally associate with purpose-built gymkhana machines.
The star of the show is Bentley’s latest Supersports, which pairs rear-wheel drive with 666 PS in standard form. That combination is the entire point here, since it lets the automobile live at big slip angles and stay there. Donuts, long slides, and controlled chaos are all on the menu, and the film leans into the concept it is a very different flavor of Bentley performance than we’re used to seeing in glossy launch videos.
To make the shoot possible, Bentley admits the precise automobile used for filming received a number of key tweaks. The largest change was the addition of a hydraulic handbrake mounted alongside the steering wheel, designed to lock the rear axle immediately and let Pastrana rotate the automobile on command. Bentley’s chassis and transmission teams integrated it with the control systems so power comes back immediately when the handbrake is released, making it easier to snap the automobile sideways before a corner and carry a sustained drift through it.
There was also software work to enable “power braking,” which allows the brake and throttle to be applied concurrently. That may sound like a small detail, but in drifting terms it’s a giant deal, since it gives the motive force one other tool to fine-tune the automobile’s stance mid-slide and makes burnouts, each static and rolling, a part of the choreography. And yes, the handbrake handle is labeled “Mildred,” a nod to the interior project name and a salute to Bentley’s history of fearless characters who pushed boundaries.
Bentley says the film was shot over three days last September, with a dedicated team prepping the automobile on the on-site Engineering Technical Centre and many employees volunteering to assist pull it off. The vibe is less “corporate promo” and more “let’s see what happens if we let a legend loose in our backyard,” which is precisely why it really works. Pastrana even notes this was a rare experience for him, filming something of this scale in a production-based automobile without the standard drift-specific changes like a clutch swap or wild steering angle mods.
When you like spotting Easter eggs, FULL SEND is full of them. Bentley peppers the film with cameos from its performance past and present, including the Continental GT3 race cars, the Le Mans-winning Speed 8, and a lineup of Heritage Collection machines that range from pre-war icons to modern rarities. There’s also a tease of Bentley’s upcoming luxury urban SUV, shown in camouflage as Pastrana rips through the ability, plus a number of blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments that turn the entire campus right into a rolling museum.
The film premiered in Dubai to an audience of 400 invited customers and guests, which feels pretty on-brand for a Bentley launch with tire smoke included. And in case you’re wondering whether you’ll be able to actually buy this latest Supersports, the reply is essentially “good luck,” because Bentley says it’s already sold out, with 500 units reserved. Production is slated to start in Q4 2026, with first deliveries expected at the beginning of 2027, and availability planned across key markets including the U.S., Canada, Europe, the UK, and several other regions within the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
