Chinese brand Xpeng has officially launched its first dealerships at its Nottingham and Southampton retail spaces alongside the debut of its Xpeng G6 premium all-electric SUV.
The newly established Xpeng dealerships will allow visitors to have interaction with digital displays and receive expert guidance from brand specialists.
Darren Cooper, owner of the Peter Cooper Motor Group, commenting on the importance of the launch, said: “This isn’t nearly launching a brand new dealership – it’s about introducing a brand new way of desirous about electric mobility. We’re offering UK customers a first-class introduction to Xpeng and a glimpse into the longer term of electrical driving. There was an actual buzz of pleasure concerning the Xpeng brand, and now we have received numerous interest before we’ve even opened the doors.”

William Brown, managing director of UK distributor partner International Motors, said: “Opening our first UK retail site is a serious milestone, nevertheless it’s only the start. We’re aiming to have between 20 to 25 retailers live by the top of our first 12 months, supported by strategically situated aftersales hubs to offer customers peace of mind and nationwide coverage. It’s all about constructing a seamless ownership experience from day one.”
