Online marketplace Carwow has voted the Volvo EX30 as its automobile of the yr in an bid to assist buyers make the most effective alternative based on price performance, efficiency, comfort, and practicality.

Chief content officer at Carwow Mat Watson said the model proves that an exceptional automobile doesn’t have to return with a hefty price tag. ““Volvo has absolutely smashed it out of the park. The little EX30 is the most effective all-round electric automobile, and the most effective all-round automobile of 2023 and is priced to appeal to the pinnacle, as much because the design and driving experience appeal to the guts. It’s got such charm and character and is one other persuasive argument for anyone eager about going electric.”

Carwow awarded the title of ‘Brand of the Yr’ to Lotus for its “automotive ingenuity, demonstrated across its latest three models,” while the prize for ‘Most Anticipated Recent Automotive of 2024’ goes to the MG Cyberster, because of its “forward-thinking design and performance.”

“Lotus is true back on form and it’s great to see. The Emira is peak Lotus: light, responsive and fun; the Eletre shows that the British brand isn’t scared to embrace the longer term with a extremely impressive electric SUV; and the brand new Emeya saloon gives me loads of reason to think the corporate has a brilliant future.”

“The Cyberster is precisely the automobile we’ve all hoped for from MG – a brand riding the crest of the EV wave like almost no other. The electrical two-seater sports automobile looks improbable and the performance figures reckon 0-60 in three seconds could possibly be on. We’re all very excited to get behind the wheel in 2024.” said Watson.

The Carwow Awards were created to recognise and rejoice excellence in automotive product development, while also helping to drive demand for its 4,000+ retail partners and OEM partners. One in every 10 privately registered recent cars within the UK at the moment are bought via the Carwow platform.

This yr, Carwow’s editorial team has reviewed lots of of vehicles, and has chosen stand-out winners across 12 categories spanning the breadth of customer needs and desires.

Sally Foote, chief business officer of Sell My Automotive at Carwow, added: “We hope our winners list not only gives anyone considering what automobile to drive in 2024 the knowledge they should make that change but will help drive consumer demand for our dealer partners too.”
