Stellantis has announced the launch of MyTasks, a tool for business fleet managers that allows real-time communication, task task, and standing updates with drivers in the sector via the vehicle’s built-in infotainment unit.

MyTasks provides advantages to each drivers and fleet managers. It allows drivers to avoid using their cellular phone, reducing distractions while behind the wheel. Fleet managers don’t need aftermarket accessories, which reinforces efficiency and safety.

How MyTasks Works for Fleet Managers and Drivers

The appliance is a patented interface between fleet manager and driver, leveraging over-the-air capability and updates.

Through an over-the-air update, MyTasks may also be available on existing Stellantis vehicles in the sector today equipped with compatible communication technology and infotainment units.

MyTasks enables fleet managers or dispatchers to assign tasks or change schedules of individual drivers via a web-based portal. Vehicle drivers then get an fast notification of assignments via a pop-up message within the vehicle’s infotainment screen.

The connected system allows drivers to send their assigned destination to the vehicle’s navigation system for routing and provides dispatchers the status of every task.

“A breakthrough tool like MyTasks is the results of once we put our customers’ needs above all else,” Stellantis Chief Software Officer Yves Bonnefont said. “We all know that our B2B customers value efficiency and safety for his or her drivers and their fleets and we’re using the capabilities built into our vehicles to chop down on the potential distractions and deliver key information to make their job easier.”

Gain Access to MyTasks

Free2move will add MyTasks to its business offer, completing the already existing business solutions reminiscent of Preventive Maintenance and Connect Fleet.

The service may also be made available via API integration to all B2B partners that have already got a tool to plan day by day fleet activities.

Pro One, the Stellantis Business Vehicles Business Unit, will likely be the primary to supply this technology.

MyTasks will likely be available in the primary half of this yr in Europe on compact and mid-size vans from the Citroën, FIAT Skilled, Opel, Peugeot and Vauxhall brands.

Availability will expand by the tip of this yr to large vans and compatible passenger cars in Europe and business vehicles in North America.

Deploying advanced technology geared toward advancing vehicle safety and keeping drivers informed is a component of Stellantis’ commitment within the Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan to supply cutting-edge mobility.

Stellantis can also be developing STLA Brain, STLA SmartCockpit, and STLA AutoDrive, three all-new technology platforms that will likely be deployed starting in 2024.
