Mercedes-AMG has once more raised the bar on this planet of high-performance SUVs with the revealing of the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe. This dynamic and stylish vehicle marks the culmination of years of innovation, bringing together power, style, and advanced technology in a way that’s quintessentially Mercedes-AMG. On this blog post, we’ll delve into the press release for the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe, exploring its impressive features and what makes it stand out within the fiercely competitive world of SUV coupes.

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe offers a lineup of two exceptional models, each designed to cater to a selected variety of driver. First up is the GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupe, which will not be only a high-performance SUV but in addition the primary of its kind to feature the exclusive AMG E PERFORMANCE hybrid technology. With a system output of  671 horsepower, this model guarantees a driving experience like no other. It combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an electrical exhaust gas turbocharger, creating an electrified powerhouse that’s as efficient because it is exhilarating.

For individuals who crave a sporty yet barely more understated option, the GLC 43 Coupe delivers with 416 horsepower and a transient boost of an extra 13 horsepower via the belt-driven starter generator at lower engine speeds. Each models come standard with rear-axle steering, all-wheel drive, the AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9G transmission with a wet start-off clutch, and the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping, ensuring that the dynamic driving experience is on the forefront of each models.

Exterior Design

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe boasts a sporty silhouette characterised by flowing lines and a seamless transition to the rear. The distinctive front fascia with large air inlets, vertical fins, and extra flics creates a daring and aggressive look. The vehicle’s wide track and flush-fitting wheels, available in sizes starting from 19 to 21 inches, contribute to its confident stance.

The rear of the GLC Coupe is equally eye-catching, with two-piece taillights and an AMG-specific diffuser-look rear fascia (GLC 43) or an extra diffuser board (GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE). The dual tailpipe trims, round for the GLC 43 and trapezoidal for the GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE, further emphasize the vehicle’s power and aesthetic appeal.

Interior Design

Step contained in the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe, and also you’ll find an opulent and sporty interior that enhances the vehicle’s exterior design. The AMG seats, available in MB-Tex/microfiber with unique graphics and fabric, provide a sporty touch. Optional leather and Nappa leather upholstery with an embossed AMG crest on the front headrests are also available. The inside may be further customized with optional AMG Performance seats.

The AMG Performance steering wheel, either in Nappa leather (GLC 43) or Nappa leather/microfiber (GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE), features aluminum shift paddles and two round AMG DRIVE UNIT buttons for quick and precise operation of assorted dynamic driving functions. Other sporty touches include AMG sports pedals, floor mats, and illuminated door sills. The MBUX infotainment system offers AMG-specific displays and functions, enhancing the driving force’s connection to the vehicle.

Powertrain

At the center of the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe models lies the hand-built AMG 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, often known as the M139l. What sets this engine apart is its revolutionary electric exhaust gas turbocharger, inspired by Formula 1™ technology. This modern system provides instantaneous response across all the speed range, leading to a more dynamic driving experience and improved efficiency.

The electrical exhaust gas turbocharger contains a 1.6-inch thin electric motor directly integrated onto the turbocharger’s shaft, allowing for quicker response and better torque at low RPMs. The GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE takes this technology even further with a bigger turbocharger and a 400-volt high-voltage system, leading to a remarkable 671 horsepower system output and a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of just 3.4 seconds.

The GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupe takes a daring step into the long run with its E PERFORMANCE hybrid technology. This model combines the M139l engine with a 201-horsepower electric motor, a high-performance battery, and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive. The result’s a staggering 671 horsepower system output and a maximum system torque of 752 lb-ft. This exceptional powertrain enables the GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE to speed up from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.4 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 171 mph.

The lightweight high-performance battery, inspired by Formula 1™ hybrid race cars, offers rapid energy draw and high power density. With 107 hp of continuous power and 201 hp of peak output, it’s designed for frequent, high-performance use slightly than simply range. Revolutionary direct cooling of the battery cells ensures optimal power delivery and safety.

Performance and Handling

Each GLC Coupe models come equipped with the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with Adaptive Damping System, ensuring an ideal balance between sporty handling and ride comfort. The GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE goes a step further with AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL lively roll stabilization, which replaces conventional anti-roll bars and provides precise handling and improved ride quality.

The three-stage AMG speed-sensitive steering system adapts to the chosen drive program, offering an ideal mix of comfort and responsiveness. Lively rear-axle steering is standard, enhancing agility and maneuverability at low speeds while improving stability at higher speeds.

The GLC 43 features the AMG sports brake system with internally ventilated and perforated brake discs for confident stopping power. Alternatively, the GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE comes standard with the AMG high-performance composite brake system, offering short braking distances, stability, and fade-resistance even under heavy use.

Mercedes-AMG offers a spread of kit packages to make your GLC Coupe much more unique.
