iRG Repair Group has been appointed an Approved Repairer for Stellantis, securing authorisation to repair vehicles from the manufacturer’s 10 UK brands at its Cardiff site.
The agreement marks a big development for Wales’ largest repairer and represents iRG’s first Stellantis approval within the country, although the business said further manufacturer approvals are expected to follow.
iRG already holds Ford approval at its Hereford operation and said the addition of Stellantis strengthens its proposition to insurers and other work providers by widening the range of approved repairs it could perform.
“With the variety of brands inside Stellantis, this approval allows us to further our repair offering to insurers and dealing partners, adding quality, confidence and trust to each repair we stock out,” said Lee Wallbank, iRG’s managing director.
“It’s great news for the business and we hope more will follow in the brand new 12 months,” he added. “We’re currently working towards securing another exciting manufacturer approvals to strengthen our offering to Welsh drivers and our work providers which we hope to announce in the primary quarter of 2026.”
Stellantis said adding iRG to its Multi-Brand Accident Repair Programme increases the network to 164 repairers, strengthening geographic coverage and supporting repairs across brands including Peugeot, Citroën and Vauxhall.
Simon Taylor, regional manager for the Stellantis Multi-Brand Accident Repair Programme, said: “We’re delighted to welcome iRG Cardiff onto the programme representing our 10 UK brands, providing a high level accident repair service to Cardiff and the encircling areas. We sit up for working with the team at IRG and developing a robust partnership with them.”
