IMI launches Way forward for Automotive survey to assist shape sector

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) has launched a serious research project, ‘IMI Way forward for Automotive Survey: Your Voice. Our Drive.’ to uncover what is essential to those working across automotive and where it could higher support the sector.

“We’re committed to making sure the IMI continues to fulfil its remit and helps to vary perceptions to draw latest talent to fill the abilities gaps,” said Steve Nash, CEO of the IMI. “Alongside our There’s More to Motor campaign which focuses on changing perceptions of the industry, this latest study is significant to assist us shape and secure the long run of the occupation.

“Our vision stays the identical: to be sure that the automotive retail sector has a talented, competent and skilled workforce, capable of keep pace with the demands of recent technology and changing markets and remain competitive in a worldwide market. Through this study, we aim to seek out out what’s vital to all automotive professionals today.

“The industry faces challenges and uncertainty but we firmly imagine we will come out the opposite side larger, higher, and stronger and we look ahead to learning from the insight provided by everyone who participates on this research.”

The aim of the IMI Way forward for Automotive Survey is to seek out out what challenges individuals face of their careers, how the IMI can provide more support and help people to capitalise on future opportunities throughout the sector. Insights provided can be fundamental in ensuring that the IMI serves the sector with one of the best possible resources, tools and representation, supporting skilled growth consistent with the ever-changing automotive landscape.

“We’re calling for responses from everyone who’s connected to or working within the sector,” added participants can be helping to future-proof the occupation, enhancing profession pathways, upholding high standards of labor, and amplifying the voice of the sector within the years ahead.”
