The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance has hired a brand new director to oversee its operations, the leading vehicle consignors trade group announced Oct. 31.
Lauren Baker began Oct. 23 because the IARA’s director of growth and operations where she is going to draw on her experience as a manager and a pacesetter. She is going to report back to IARA executive director Mark Coleman.
Baker is a 13-year veteran of the automotive industry, including owning her own automotive dealership together with her husband, in addition to holding client-facing managerial roles with PHH, a fleet management services company, and Element Fleet Management, where she earned awards for her leadership and innovation.
“I had the privilege of watching Lauren in motion first-hand during my years at Element, and I feel very fortunate to have her on board with IARA,” Coleman said in a news release.
With expertise in fostering client engagement and loyalty, in addition to in process improvement and automation, Baker is qualified to assist the IARA deliver more value for its members while growing membership.
“I’m confident Lauren will make significant contributions to our members’ experience and to IARA’s expansion on this next phase of the IARA’s growth,” said IARA President Doug Turner.
Baker attended YorkTowne Business Institute and Harrisburg Area Community College. She lives in Florida together with her husband, their three children, and dog Nala.
