Hendy Group has launched “Hendy Buy Any Automotive,” a car-buying service geared toward providing an easy, user-friendly platform for people across southern England to sell their used vehicles at a good market value.

This service is designed to simplify the means of valuing and selling cars quickly, regardless of car make, model, age, or condition.

Through a web-based valuation tool and three easy steps, Hendy Buy Any Automotive is designed to streamline the transaction process and offers each convenience and efficiency to consumers.

The method begins with an initial online valuation, where users input their vehicle’s registration number, mileage and get in touch with details.

The valuation, based on real-time market data, gives an indicative estimate that’s valid for seven days. Customers receive a confirmation email with a breakdown of how the vehicle’s condition – starting from poor to excellent – might impact the ultimate offer. This initial step ensures that sellers receive a transparent and fair estimate upfront.

The subsequent stage invites the vendor to book a no-obligation appointment at any Hendy dealership to finalise the offer. During this in-person appraisal, Hendy’s team conducts a radical inspection to evaluate the automotive’s actual condition.

This assessment either confirms the net valuation or adjusts it accordingly. If the ultimate valuation is agreeable to each parties, Hendy extends a suggestion for the vehicle. The vendor then has the choice to simply accept and proceed with the transaction.

Once agreed, funds are transferred to the vendor inside 24 hours. For those all for purchasing a alternative vehicle, Hendy offers part-exchange options, which will be discussed through the dealership appointment.

In cases where there’s outstanding finance on the vehicle, Hendy provides a seamless experience by coordinating with the lienholder and managing obligatory documentation. This helps sellers navigate the complexities of selling a vehicle with existing financial commitments.

“Hendy has been on the forefront of dealership processes for 165 years, and with the launch of this latest site we’re constructing on that legacy and meeting demand from customers for an easy-to-use, free-of-charge platform where they’ll value and sell their used vehicles,” said Simon Palmer, director of used vehicle operations. “The brand new car-buying site has been created to make consumers lives easier, allowing them to value and transact through a brand they trust in a fast and easy way.”

Hendy Group is Britain’s largest family-run dealer group with over 80 sites and representing 24 manufacturers across the south coast including Ford, Honda and Nissan. As considered one of the highest 20 dealerships within the UK – ranked 18th within the AM 100, Hendy Group’s operations have grown significantly and had a turnover of over £1 billion in 2023, employing greater than 1,700 staff.
