Great Wall Motors UK is opening recent retail locations in Sutton-in-Ashfield (Draycotts), Penicuik (A F Noble & Son), and Wincanton (Vale Motors) as a part of its growth strategy throughout the first half of 2025.
Additional franchise partners in Hexham, Workington, Guildford, and Telford are expected to be announced in the approaching weeks.
This expansion supports GWM’s objective to extend nationwide coverage and grow its market presence, following the launch of the GWM Haval Jolion Pro Hybrid.
Toby Marshall, managing director of GWM UK, highlighted the network’s growth: “We now have 46 sites across the UK, with plans to achieve 100 sales and repair centres and 40 further aftersales points over the following five years.”
John Allan, general sales manager at AF Noble, commenting on the partnership, said: “GWM’s deal with electric and hybrid innovation aligns with our own vision for growth and sustainability. We’re proud to be a part of their expanding UK network.”
GWM’s global portfolio includes five model lines – Ora, Haval, Wey, Tank, and Poer. While Ora was initially the only UK offering, the brand expanded in 2025 under the ‘one GWM’ platform with the introduction of the Haval Jolion Pro Hybrid SUV.
GWM advantages from International Motors Limited’s UK logistics and parts distribution centre within the West Midlands, providing next-day parts delivery nationwide. The brand also offers field-based support, an in-house customer assistance team, and a public technical and parts help line.
