Under the hood of the 2025 Tiguan, the two.0L turbocharged EA888 four-cylinder engine now offers 201 hp, up from the previous 184.

Volkswagen of America unveiled the all-new 2025 Tiguan featuring bolder styling, more power, and enhanced fuel efficiency.

This fully reimagined version also boasts a refined, high-quality interior and introduces a sophisticated infotainment system. With these enhancements, the Tiguan strengthens its standing as a reasonable and versatile SUV.

Under the hood of the 2025 Tiguan, the two.0L turbocharged EA888 four-cylinder engine now offers 201 hp, up from the previous 184.

Along with the ability upgrade, the brand new Tiguan weighs around 170 lbs lower than the outgoing model. The weight savings are largely resulting from the usage of aluminum within the suspension and high-strength hot-formed steel within the body structure.

Updates to Fuel Economy and Trim Pricing

 Trim Level  FWD   4Motion AWD
 Tiguan S   $29,495   $30,995
 Tiguan SE  $32,995   $33,975
 Tiguan SE R-Line Black   $35,455   $36,955
 Tiguan SEL R-line  $39,755

EPA-estimated fuel economy shouldn’t be yet available and might be released later.

The 2025 Tiguan also includes VW’s suite of IQ.Drive Level 2 driver assistance features, that are standard across all trims.

Tiguan Receives More Airbags and Assistance Tech

Regarding safety, the vehicle introduces 4 recent airbags: driver knee, center, and rear side airbags, bringing the automobile’s total airbags to 10.

The 2025 Tiguan also includes VW’s suite of IQ.Drive Level 2 driver assistance features, that are standard across all trims and will prove helpful to industrial fleet safety, including:

  • Travel Assist (level 2 semi-automated driving assistance)
  • Front Assist (Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring)
  • Lively Blind Spot Monitor
  • Rear Traffic Alert
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Stop and Go
  • Lane Assist (Lane Keeping System)
  • Emergency Assist (semi-automated vehicle assistance in a medical emergency)

Light Assist, Park Distance Control, and Exit Warning are actually standard, and Park Assist Plus is offered.

Redefining Tech and Comfort for Fleets

The all-new Tiguan features various technology, comfort, and convenience features.

The following generation of Volkswagen’s 10.25-in. Digital Cockpit Pro system is standard, and a brand new central infotainment system with MIB4 contains a standard 12.9-in. display alongside a rotary dial control situated in the middle console for straightforward adjustment of volume together with Drive Mode Select and recent available ‘Atmospheres.’

Standard wireless charging and app-connect ensure seamless connectivity, while standard Climatronic Touch automatic climate control and seat Climatronic for front passengers allow for tailored cabin temperatures.

Available upscale comfort and convenience features include:

  • Power Easy Open and Close tailgate
  • 12-way power front seats with quilted leather seating surfaces plus 10-point, full-back massage and ventilation
  • Heated rear outboard seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Three-zone Climatronic system
  • KESSY keyless entry

Exterior Refreshes and Recent Gear Selector Placement

The Tiguan has been fully redesigned on the MQB Evo platform with all-new sheet metal, a shorter rear overhang, and a slight wheelbase increase.

The brand new Tiguan boasts recent wheels and colours across the range. Standard 17-in. aluminum alloy wheels are quickly replaced on volume trims with 19-in. wheels, while top trims are 20 in.

The 2025 Tiguan showcases quality upgrades and a clean design within the cabin. Elements corresponding to American walnut wood décor, a wrapped and double-stitched center console, upgraded Savona leather interiors, and cloth seats with an embossed design are featured throughout the interior.

The gear selector has now been moved onto the steering column, freeing up space for a big center console that enhances cupboard space within the cabin. The Tiguan is obtainable exclusively in a two-row configuration for the North American region.
