Drivers Offered Three Month Return Option With New Cupra Born

A brand new offer to tempt the EV-curious into the motive force’s seat of a brand new Cupra Born electric automobile gives them an option handy back the automobile after three months.

Cupra UK’s ‘Love Me or Leave Me’ offer is accessible now for financed or outright purchase buyers and if after three months the owner decides handy back the vehicle, Cupra will return the deposit, subject to wreck/excess mileage.

The scheme is obtainable on qualifying vehicles ordered from Cupra’s current stock. Consumers who buy one, but then determine it isn’t right for them, must give Cupra notice at 80-100 days into ownership that they want to return it.

Marcus Gossen, Seat and Cupra UK director, said: “It’s secure to say that the brand new scheme is ground-breaking and can give many drivers who’ve considered an electrical automobile the impetus to make the leap.

“Cupra Born is already a compelling proposition, bringing performance, great range, sporty styling and an excellent interior into one package that owners tell us they love. But, if the experience doesn’t suit their lifestyle and a driver doesn’t gel with EV ownership, they will hand the keys back after three months.”

To further support drivers as they transition to EVs, Cupra has partnered with UK leading energy supplier OVO to supply its electric vehicle owners as much as 10,000 complimentary miles once they add its Charge Anytime tariff to an OVO energy plan.

Charge Anytime allows smart charging at home for just 7p per kWh, any time, day or night.

Cupra has also teamed up with Ohme to supply a free home EV charger.

“Ohme is committed to making sure that no driver is left behind within the transition to greater e-mobility,” said David Watson, Ohme chief executive. “That is an exciting and modern latest scheme from Cupra and Ohme looks forward to proceed to work with them as their official home EV charging partner in addition to with OVO to bring low price, low CO2 EV motoring to more drivers.”
