Clarience Technologies Expands Upfit Offerings With Ranger Design Acquisition

Clarience Technologies recently acquired Ranger Design, a manufacturer of upfitting solutions for business vehicles, which Secure Fleet shared more information on at Work Truck Week 2025. 

Secure Fleet recently announced its integration into the Clarience Technologies Safety Solutions Segment, joining forces with ECCO, Davco, Truck-Lite, and PSI within the Secure Fleet booth at Work Truck Week 2025 to showcase the most recent in business vehicle safety and upfit Solutions.

Clarience Technologies recently acquired Ranger Design, a manufacturer of upfitting solutions for business vehicles, which Secure Fleet shared more information on on the event.

“We’re excited to welcome Ranger Design to the Clarience Technologies team of corporations. This acquisition aligns with our vision to offer visionary technology for all transportation, to assist make the world safer and create superior value for our customers and the communities we serve,” said Brian Kupchella, CEO of Clarience Technologies.

Ranger Design is understood for its complete suite of upfitting solutions to reinforce the efficiency and safety of work trucks. Clarience Technologies said Ranger Design’s commitment to the shopper experience through product quality, innovation, reliability, and speed of delivery makes it a sought-after brand for business vehicle original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, and major fleets.

“Joining Clarience Technologies is a big milestone for Ranger Design,” said Ron Cowie, CEO of Ranger Design. “This partnership will allow us to leverage combined resources and expertise to higher serve our customers. Together, we’ll proceed to innovate and supply the best quality upfit solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry.”

Secure Fleet’s Expansion of Upfit Solutions and Collaboration

The acquisition joins Secure Fleet’s own business vehicle brands like American Van, Prime Design, Rear View Safety, Roll-Rite, and Pulltarps.

Secure Fleet unveiled 4 latest releases on the recent NTEA Work Truck Week Show:

  • Rear View Safety’s AI-enabled InView 360-degree system
  • American Van’s bulkhead partition that requires no floor drilling
  • Prime Design’s next-generation ergonomic ladder rack
  • Collaboration between Pulltarps and Switch-N Go
