Automotive executive search specialist Ennis & Co Group has launched an expanded interim talent service to fulfill a surge in demand by automotive and mobility brands for short-term placements at senior leadership level.

The growing need for interim senior hires is being attributed to the rapid transformation going down across the industry, with businesses requiring experienced executives who can step in at short notice to guide restructuring efforts, oversee mergers and acquisitions, establish latest entrants out there and navigate periods of transition.

Such is the pace of transformation, many businesses are choosing contract hires over everlasting appointments to avoid lengthy recruitment processes and long notice periods, filling time-critical leadership vacancies as quickly as possible.

Responding to this growing demand, Ennis & Co have developed an expanded database of senior interim candidates so as to add to its network of freelance associates.

Lynda Ennis, co-founder and chief executive of Ennis & Co Group, said: “We’re witnessing a transparent shift in how organisations approach leadership during transformation.

“Interim executives are not any longer only a stopgap but are strategic assets who bring specialised expertise to tackle challenges head-on.

“As executive search specialists, now we have been supporting plenty of our clients with interim placements for a few years and have seen first-hand how interim leaders can assist businesses grow and transition through periods of uncertainty.

“Constructing on this information, our enhanced Interim Talent service will connect automotive businesses with experienced leaders across the total range of corporate functions.”
