Perodua is an organization that plans all the pieces intimately, and sticks to it. Annual sales records, a vice-like grip of its No.1 position and market share that’s now pushing 45% are testaments to the discipline and efficiency at play in Rawang. Heck, Perodua is now the No.2 carmaker in ASEAN after overtaking Honda in 2024. But an EV in 2025 wasn’t a part of the plan. It was the plan of the Madani government, and although Perodua won’t ever say so publicly, the corporate was tasked to give you a reasonable EV. To make things much more ‘interesting’ the…

Click to enlarge Take note, Sunway/USJ residents and people who take the BRT Sunway Line. The elevated bus route will likely be running on street level tomorrow. That’s 2pm to midnight, May 3. That is to make way for the Under Armour Infinite Race event, which is able to flag off at 8.15 pm for the person category. Which means that the BRT buses will likely be moving under the elevated track, and can stop directly below the BRT stations except at 4 stations, which may have alternative pick-up and drop-off points. The stations are USJ 7, South Quay, Mentari…

The one-day campaign is along side the Hari Pekerja 2025 event organised by the human resources ministry, which can be happening at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. The hours are from 8am to 4pm. This time around, there’s no mention of ‘50%’ or any discount rate for that matter. Previous deals were for saman excluding those involving traffic lights, emergency lane, double line overtaking, dangerous overtaking/queue cutting, accidents, non-compound (NC), court cases, exhaust modification and people involving heavy vehicles/lorries. Also not included were Op Selamat tickets. The identical exclusions would probably…
Ni hao from Auto Shanghai 2025, where countless cars are making their world debut today on the press day. A lot of those cars, from Chinese brands, will look same-same (seriously, it’s hard to maintain abreast), but MG’s Cyber X won’t seem like any of them. Also surprising for a Chinese boxy SUV, it doesn’t seem like other famous 4x4s – this isn’t a replica of the Land Rover Defender, Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen or Toyota Land Cruiser. It even has a feature that I don’t remember seeing in any SUV, past and present – pop-up headlamps! Yes, the upper tier lights…

Click to enlarge It’s time for MotoGP in Sepang again, and the 2024 Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia will likely be happening next weekend, November 1-3. Heading to the race? Why not only sit back and loosen up within the bus or also have a nap as a substitute of battling traffic, in search of parking and paying toll. As usual, Rapid KL is offering bus services from the town to Sepang and back, and you may buy tickets now. Places where you may accomplish that are KLCC, KL Sentral, Pasar Seni and Masjid Jamek LRT stations, the Pasar Seni…
