Moto Morini, the storied Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1937, has changed hands many times since its beginning, most recently being purchased by the Zhongneng Vehicle Group in 2018. When the brand entered the U.S. market in 2023, it brought the X-Cape 650 adventure bike, along with a few other models, to American shores. For 2026, the Moto Morini X-Cape 700 is updated with a more powerful engine, advanced technology, and additional features.

The X-Cape’s liquid-cooled parallel-Twin engine gets a bump in displacement from 649cc in the X-Cape 650 to 693cc in the 700. Horsepower is increased to 70 (up from 60 hp on the X-Cape 650), and torque is now 50.2 lb-ft (up from 42.5). Max speed is increased to 115 mph from 105 mph. The bike also gets a new slipper clutch and a newly designed 2-into-1 exhaust. Dirt and Road ride modes are managed by thumb controls.

New suspension includes a fully adjustable Marzocchi 50mm USD fork offering 6.9 inches of travel and a new KYB rear monoshock offering 6.5 inches with adjustable preload and rebound. Dual Brembo 2-piston front brake calipers pinch 298mm discs, and tubeless spoked wheels (19-inch front, 17-inch rear) are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR adventure tires. Seat height is 33.3 inches, curb weight is 514 lb, and the fuel tank holds 4.8 gallons.
The X-Cape comes with a new glove-friendly 7-inch full-color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and the included forward-facing camera also has smartphone connectivity. The USB-A and -C ports are weather-tight.

This adventure bike also features a centerstand, a luggage rack, switchable on/off ABS, handlebars with six points of adjustment, handguards, and a height-adjustable windscreen.
The 2026 Moto Morini X-Cape 700 will be available in Italia Red or Carrera White with an MSRP of $8,299. Visit the Moto Morini website for more information.
