Wheels has appointed Matthew Cole as president, where he’ll give attention to the fleet management company’s growth strategy, client relationships, technology and product development.
Cole brings greater than 30 years of automotive and technology experience to the role. Most recently, he led Aptiv’s Intelligent Systems business, overseeing operations involving connected and software-defined vehicle technologies.
He previously held senior leadership positions at Visteon and Johnson Controls and started his profession at Ford Motor Company. His experience includes strategy, operations, technology and product development across the U.S., Europe and Asia.
“Matthew is a proven leader with the experience and vision to steer a fast-growing global business and construct strong, high-performing teams,” said Shlomo Crandus. “His deep expertise combines automotive, technology and product development, alongside global operating experience and outside-in perspective, that will likely be instrumental as we speed up our growth, strengthen our client relationships and position Wheels for the longer term.”
In his recent role, Cole said he plans to give attention to Wheels’ client relationships and the event of its products, technology and services.

Cole holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Miami University and a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Michigan.
