A brand new collaboration between Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) and MotorCap is designed to present UK dealers access to retail-ready used vehicles direct from Japan.
The strategic partnership will see vehicles sourced through WSG’s Prep4Less programme, and can see WSG dealers capable of source vehicles via MotorCap’s established Japanese buying network.
MotorCap is described because the UK’s only wholesale importer of used vehicles from Japan dedicated exclusively to supplying the trade, specialising in low-mileage, high-grade vehicles.
Vehicles delivered via the partnership might be fully inspected, prepared and compliant for UK retail once they arrive.

Partnership claimed as stock shortage solution
In accordance with MotorCap, dealers working with its model are frequently seeing estimated margins of greater than 30% per vehicle – sometimes greater than 40% depending on model and spec.
WSG says it expects the brand new partnership to assist dealers facing stock availability issues to take care of inventory quality while protecting profitability.
