Vincentric Pronounces 2024 Best Fleet Value in America Awards – Vehicle Research

The Camry Hybrid LE won the Mid-Size segment for the third consecutive 12 months, totaling the tenth overall win within the segment for the Camry.

The nineteenth annual Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards are out — and once more, Ford and Toyota garnered essentially the most awards for 2024-model 12 months vehicles. Ford earned eight awards, double the quantity of another brand.

Ford Sweeps Truck Segments

Ford swept all 4 segments within the Truck category:  

  • Small pickup: Ford Maverick XL Supercrew FWD
  • Full-size ½-ton pickup: Ford F-150 Lightning Pro Supercrew 4WD
  • Full-size 3/4-ton pickup: Ford F-250 XL Reg Cab 2WD
  • Full-size 1-ton pickup: Ford F-350 XL Reg Cab 2WD SRW

The all-electric Lightning carried on the legacy of its gasoline counterpart and brought home the F-150’s ninth overall win within the Full-Size 1/2-Ton Pickup segment.

The F-350 XL had the bottom insurance costs in its class, in line with Vincentric, which helped it earn its fifth win in a row for Full-Size 1-Ton Pickup.

Ford’s Van winners included second consecutive wins for the T350 passenger van, and the T150 and T250 cargo vans. Finally, the E-Transit 350 won the Full-Size 1-Ton Cargo Van segment by having the bottom fuel, maintenance, and operating costs in its class. 

All-electric vehicles took home awards in eight out of 25 categories, while hybrids took three and plug-in hybrids took two awards.

Toyota Wins in 3 of 4 Passenger Automobile Segments

Toyota won in 4 segments overall, including in three of 4 segments within the Passenger Automobile category:

The Camry Hybrid LE won in the Mid-Size segment for the third consecutive 12 months. Camry has won the segment 10 times.

The Corolla Hybrid LE had the bottom depreciation cost in its class; the Prius Prime SE had the bottom insurance cost in its class, and the Sienna LE won a powerful ninth-time win within the Minivan segment.

Dodge, Subaru Claim Segment Wins

The Dodge Durango took its eighth consecutive win for Large SUV, helped by having the bottom operating costs in its class.

The Subaru Crosstrek and Outback earned their seventh win of their segments. That they had the bottom depreciation and insurance costs of their class.

The Infiniti QX60 Pure FWD won within the Luxury Large SUV category. The model had the bottom fuel, repair, and depreciation costs in its class, resulting in the model’s fifth overall win for Luxury Large SUV. 

Other brands with award winners were Audi, BMW, Cadillac, GMC, Hyundai, Mini, Tesla, and Volvo.

Luxury SUV Segment

  • Luxury Compact SUV: Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD
  • Luxury Mid-Size SUV: Cadillac Lyriq Tech
  • Luxury Large SUV: Infiniti QX60 Pure FWD

Luxury Sedan Segment

  • Luxury Compact: Tesla Model 3 Standard Range RWD
  • Luxury Mid-Size Sedan: BMW i4 eDrive35
  • Luxury Large Sedan: Volvo S90 Plug-In Hybrid T8 Plus eAWD
  • Luxury Wagon: Audi A4 Allroad Premium 45 2.0T

Van Segment

  • Minivan: Toyota Sienna LE
  • Full-Size 3/4-Ton Passenger Van: GMC Savana G2500 6.6L V8 SWB
  • Full-Size 1-Ton Passenger Van: Ford T350 Vans XLT Low Roof RWD 148
  • Full-Size 1/2-Ton Cargo Van: Ford T150 Vans Low Roof RWD 130
  • Full-Size 3/4-Ton Cargo Van: Ford T250 Vans Cargo Low Roof RWD 130
  • Full-Size 1-Ton Cargo Van: Ford E-Transit 350 Base Cargo LR 130 WB
