The 7-seater Tesla Model Y Juniper has landed in Europe, with the third row option now being available for order for two,500 Euros. The identical option is US$2,500 within the US market where it made its debut.
While the unique Tesla Model Y was available with an optional third row which added two seats, this selection was never available on the Juniper. A 3 row Model Y was later launched in the shape of the Tesla Model Y L with an extended wheelbase, but as an alternative of being a 7-seater, it’s a 6-seater with a 2-2-2 seat configuration, with the center bench replaced by two individual seats.
Now, the 7-seater Model Y finally makes its comeback. Access to the third row is via folding and sliding forward the outer seat of the center bench.

The third row of the Model Y is just not the identical because the one on the Model Y L – the long wheelbase version’s third row bench has ISOFIX child mounting points on the third row that are missing on the regular Y’s third row bench.
Would you purchase a 7-seater Tesla Model Y if it were offered in Malaysia? Based on the US pricing, the worth for the add-on could be RM10,000 if we were to provide it a guess. Or would the Model Y L be more suitable for the Malaysian automotive buyer?
