Subaru is popping heads at Boxerfest with two limited production specials that commemorate its performance roots in full color. Meet the 2026 WRX Series.Yellow and 2026 BRZ Series.Yellow, each capped at 350 units and offered exclusively with a six speed manual. Each are based on their tS trims, bringing unique suspension hardware and upgraded cabins, then layering on a daring Sunrise Yellow finish with matte black wheels and high contrast yellow stitching throughout. The hue is a Subaru hallmark seen on past fan favorites, and it matches these modern twins perfectly. The general public debut happens September 14 in York, Pennsylvania, with deliveries to follow after pricing is announced closer to launch.
The WRX Series.Yellow keeps its rally bred spirit intact with a 271 horsepower 2.4 liter turbocharged Boxer engine and Subaru Symmetrical All Wheel Drive. Subaru Tecnica International tunes the electronically controlled adjustable dampers, and Brembo brakes sit behind 19 inch matte black alloys wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires. Inside, the motive force faces a 12.3 inch digital cluster and a portrait 11.6 inch multimedia system, while grippy Recaro Performance Design front seats get yellow contrast stitching and subtle yellow accents within the perforations for a pointy factory look.
The BRZ Series.Yellow chases balance and feel with a 228 horsepower 2.4 liter naturally aspirated Boxer paired to an in depth ratio six speed manual that sends power to the rear wheels. STI tuned Hitachi dampers sharpen response, and Brembo hardware teams with 18 inch matte black wheels on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires for crisp turn in and assured stopping. The cabin sticks to a purposeful black theme lifted by yellow stitching on the front seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, shifter boot, and parking brake boot. With production so limited and the spec sheets reading like enthusiast wish lists, each Series.Yellow models look destined to turn into fast collectibles.
