The normal remarketing funnel may morph right into a broader approach that takes sales and transactions upstream.
A session on the Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR) will examine major shifts within the remarketing chain. Titled “Extreme Upstream: The way to Move into NextGen Remarketing,” three panelists will propose how the present remarketing landscape will yield a totally digitized, real time customer experience.
“Remarketing, especially within the fleet and rental space, is simply too often placed on the back burner,” said Megan Mahon, vp of sales and business development for Remarketing+ and moderator of the session. “It is a ‘worry about it when the time comes’ mentality. Then the time comes, and corporations follow the identical archaic process they have been doing for a long time. Simply because it’s ‘not broken’ doesn’t suggest it might’t be higher. And that is exactly what our session will address — tips on how to be higher, move cars more quickly, and make more cash while doing it.”
Mahon will probably be joined by Elena Ciccotelli, host and producer of “The EVs for Everyone Podcast.” and Ashley Roseberry, strategic accounts director for ACV Auctions. Their session will probably be held Wednesday, March 27 at 3:30 p.m. on the Hilton on the Peak in Phoenix, Arizona.
“It’s all about getting upstream,” Mahon added. “Can you’re taking a vehicle to a physical auction or post it on a static site? Sure. But in the event you’re not offering options to remarket vehicles on to the motive force ahead of the grounding event and doing so in a frictionless way, I guarantee you others will.”
CAR, which has served the vehicle remarketing industry since 1995, will probably be held March 26-28. REGISTRATION HERE
