Ram’s more compact, inexpensive Rampage dual-cab ute is about to be sold outside of Latin America, with a European launch planned – but there’s still no word on right-hand drive production.
The Brazilian-designed and built Ram Rampage shall be previewed at Fieracavalli 2025, a horse show being held in Italy on November 6-9, 2025.
Without announcing launch timing for Europe, Ram has said the ute will “meet the evolving needs of European drivers searching for the right balance between on a regular basis and rugged utility”.
“Positioned between C-SUVs and midsize pick-ups, Rampage fills a whitespace available in the market with a compelling value proposition,” the corporate said in a press release, confirming more information shall be shared at the top of the event.

Launching the Rampage in Europe would give Ram a much better-suited ute for European conditions than its full-size pickups, which have area of interest appeal on the continent.
To not be confused with the recently revealed Ram Dakota Nightfall for Latin America, or Ram’s upcoming US-built mid-size body-on-frame dual-cab ute (which could could also wear the Dakota nameplate), the Rampage is more of a ‘lifestyle’ ute derived from the car-like unibody underpinnings of the Jeep Compass.
While it was the primary Ram designed and built by the American brand in Brazil, there have been previous indications it might be sold beyond Latin America.

Earlier this 12 months, for instance, Ram secured a US design patent for the model, though the brand still has yet to verify a launch in its home market, where it might logically tackle the favored Ford Maverick and the less popular Hyundai Santa Cruz, that are related to the Ford Escape and Hyundai Tucson crossover SUVs respectively.
Launched in Brazil in 2023, the Ram Rampage dual-cab ute measures 5028mm long, 1886mm wide and 1780mm tall on a 2994mm wheelbase.
That makes it quite a bit shorter than a Ford Ranger, for instance, which measures 5370mm long in dual-cab ute guise; the Blue Oval’s ute can also be barely wider at 1918mm.

Powering the Rampage is either a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 203kW of power and 400Nm of torque, or 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel with 149kW and 450Nm. Each are mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
The Rampage offers payload capability of 1015kg in diesel models and 750kg in petrol models, and all variants have a 980-litre lined tub with LED lighting and an influence tailgate.
It’s not the primary Ram-badged unibody ute; the American brand sells a version of the even smaller Fiat Strada and Toro utes in certain Latin American markets.
While Australia is arguably the birthplace of the ute, a majority of these car-derived utes not exist here, where ladder-frame construction dominates. With right-hand drive production not yet confirmed, it’s still unclear whether the Rampage will ever appear in Australian showrooms.
