We’re sure you’ve seen this already on social media, but The Sun has reported that the roundabout check in Penang’s Seri Tanjung Pinang, which has gone viral for its resemblance to an element of the male body, has been taken down by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP).
“The installation was carried out by Tanjong Pinang (developer). We instructed them to change it, they usually have since taken it down,” mayor Datuk A. Rajendran told the English-language every day.
The comments make for hilarious reading, after all – but some indicate that the sign is “factually accurate and precise”, and this netizen does have some extent. In any case, removing the sign won’t change the proven fact that the roundabout is formed that way. How different can the brand new sign be made to look?
