Model EV Perodua sah akan dilancar suku ke-4 2025 – MCE Holdings meterai kontrak bekalkan komponen

Pengilang komponen Kelengkapan Asli Pengeluar (OEM) automotif MCE Holdings Berhad (MCE) dan juga subsidarinya iaitu MCE Group hari ini mengumumkan bahawa ia telah memuktamadkan kontrak bernilai RM19.6 juta dari Perodua bagi membekalkan pelbagai komponen elektronik dan mekatronik untuk kenderaan elektrik penuh (EV) yang bakal dilancarkan oleh jenama automotif nasional itu.

Dalam kenyataan yang dikeluarkan, MCE menyatakan antara komponen EV yang bakal dibekalkan kepada Perodua termasuk unit paparan multimedia, kluster panel instrumen, sistem bantuan pemanduan termaju (ADAS), pelbagai suis, lampu-lampu kabin dalaman dan pelbagai lagi.

MCE turut menyatakan dengan jelas bahawa kontrak selama tiga tahun itu akan bermula pada suku kedua tahun kewangan kumpulan tersebut yang berakhir pada 31 Julai 2026. Ini bermakna Perodua akan memulakan produksi model EV itu pada suku keempat 2025 mengikut kelendar biasa apabila komponen-komponen tersebut mula dibekalkan.

Perodua sebelum ini telah pun mendedahkan prototaip EV yang berfungsi digelar sebagai emo-1 ketika berlangsungnya Malaysia Autoshow 2024 Mei lalu. Prototaip berkenaan diasaskan dari Myvi generasi ketiga yang digerakkan oleh motor elektrik berkuasa 68 PS (kadar 50 kW, dengan puncaknya pada 120 kW) dan tork 220 Nm (angka 315 Nm dipaparkan di skrin pameran), membolehkan ia mencapai 100 km/j dalam masa antara tujuh ke sembilan saat.

Motor berkenaan menerima bekalan kuasa daripada bateri lithium-ion NMC berkapasiti 55.7 kWh (paparan di panel menunjukkan 56.7 kWh), dan menurut Perodua dapat memberikan jarak perjalanan 350 km (dipaparkan di skrin 400 km) dengan satu cas penuh. Ia mengambil masa lima jam untuk dicas sepenuhnya melalui pengecas AC 11 kW, manakala pengecas DC 50 kW memerlukan hanya satu jam lebih.

Perodua turut mengumumkan bahawa projek ini tidak menyadur teknologi dari Daihatsu, sebaliknya ia dibangunkan sendiri oleh pembuat automotif dari Rawang itu bersama rakan teknikal dari Australia yang tidak dinamakan.

Dengan pengumuman dari MCE ini nampaknya mengesahkan bahawa versi produksi EV pertama dari Perodua tersebut akan dilancarkan pada suku ke-empat 2025. Ia juga selari dengan tempoh akhir yang diberikan kerajaan yang mahukan Perodua melancarkan EV pertamanya menjelang 2025.

Dalam pengumuman yang diterbitkan dalam Bursa Malaysia hari ini, MCE turut menyatakan bahawa ia akan mengeluarkan pelaburan sebanyak RM12.8 juta untuk projek tersebut, dan menjangkakan model berkenaan akan memberikan sumbangan positif kepada syarikat itu selama 36-bulan bermula tahun kewangan yang dinyatakan.
