MG has confirmed the brand new S5 will replace the ZS EV will go sale within the UK this spring.

The brand new automobile is already on sale in China.

Unlike its predecessor, which used a combustion engine platform, the S5 is predicated on MG’s bespoke electric vehicle (EV) underpinnings.

It shares a base with the MG 4 and is predicted to make use of the identical electric motors as that automobile.

MG said the brand new model will “showcase a striking recent cabin appearance with advanced and premium features unique to this model, all of that are designed to boost the standards within the SUV segment.”

In China, the S5 is accessible with three battery pack options offering ranges of 264, 320 and 326 miles.

Prices are expected to start out at lower than £30,000, but UK specifcations are yet to be revealed.
