Thirty years ago, McLaren shocked the motorsport world by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans on its very first attempt. Now, the British automaker is celebrating that landmark 1995 triumph with a limited-edition supercar that blends nostalgia with cutting-edge performance. Meet the 2025 McLaren 750S Le Mans Edition — a hyper-focused homage to the F1 GTR that conquered the Circuit de la Sarthe, limited to simply 50 units worldwide.

McLaren’s victory on June 18, 1995, wasn’t only a fluke. The #59 McLaren F1 GTR, driven by JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas, and Masanori Sekiya, crossed the finish line first in a grueling 24-hour battle, with three other F1 GTRs placing in the highest five. That one race cemented McLaren’s place amongst endurance racing legends and secured the brand’s unique motorsport “Triple Crown” — wins on the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, and Le Mans. The brand new 750S Le Mans serves as a rolling tribute to that legacy.

Visually, the special edition immediately distinguishes itself from the usual 750S with numerous McLaren Special Operations (MSO) touches. Essentially the most notable upgrade is the MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK), which incorporates a brand new front bumper with a bigger carbon fiber splitter and an aggressive raised rear spoiler with endplates. These aerodynamic enhancements increase downforce by 10 percent, helping the automotive deliver much more capability on target.

The design cues are wealthy with motorsport references. Customers can make a choice from two signature exterior colours: Le Mans Grey, which mimics the 1995 race automotive’s original paint, or the unmistakable McLaren Orange. A roof scoop, 5-spoke Le Mans-style wheels with a Stealth finish, F1 Gold brake calipers, and painted Le Mans branding reinforce the automotive’s track pedigree. Every detail, from the gloss black louvres to the titanium exhaust finisher, feels curated to honor McLaren’s racing heritage while pushing the 750S’s design envelope.

Inside, the Le Mans tribute continues with two interior themes. One pairs Carbon Black Alcantara with Dove Grey accents, while the opposite combines McLaren Orange with the identical black Alcantara base. Le Mans logos are debossed into the headrests, matched with branded floormats and a bespoke dedication plaque — reminding occupants that they’re in one in every of the rarest 750S builds ever made.

Beyond aesthetics, owners still get the high-performance core that makes the 750S a standout in its class. Which means a 750 PS (740 horsepower) twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, a carbon fiber Monocage II chassis, and the Proactive Chassis Control III suspension. Already the lightest and strongest series-production McLaren, the 750S becomes much more track-honed with the HDK additions, offering enthusiasts an experience that’s as much about connection because it is about speed.

Buyers can further personalize their automotive with exclusive options like carbon fiber exterior components, a Track Brake Upgrade package, and even a plaque commemorating McLaren’s motorsport milestones — including that historic 1995 Le Mans win.

This isn’t the primary time McLaren has crafted a Le Mans-themed model. Special versions of the 650S and 720S carried similar inspiration, and each have grow to be collector’s items. Given the limited run of fifty units and its tie to the legendary F1 GTR, the 750S Le Mans Edition is poised to follow the identical path — a future classic within the making.

McLaren can be looking forward, not only backward. With its GT3 EVO entries hitting the Le Mans grid in 2025 and a full-blown Hypercar return scheduled for 2027, this special edition marks each a celebration and a press release of intent. The legacy lives on, not only in carbon fiber and horsepower, but in an organization that continues to chase victory at the best level.
