The LDV Terron 9 dual-cab ute has had its price cut by $3000 to $47,990 drive-away for Australian Business Number (ABN) holders until March 2026, or until current 2025 stocks run out.
LDV said the offer replaces a previous promotion available on the Terron 9’s launch in Australia in July 2025, which saw the usual $50,990 drive-away price reduced by $1000 for ABN holders.
The brand new $3000 discount for ABN holders applies to each model grades, with the usual Terron 9 Origin at $47,990 drive-away including a 3500kg braked towing rating, dual 12.3-inch widescreen digital displays and a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
The Terron 9 Evolve – which adds 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tyres, a locking front differential and an eight-speaker JBL audio system – is reduced to $52,990 drive-away for ABN holders.

Non-ABN holders and personal buyers also receive the identical discount, bringing the Origin’s price to $50,674 drive-away and the Evolve’s to $55,937 drive-away.
Metallic paint – any color aside from white – is an extra $500.
The 5.5-metre-long Terron 9 arrived as an addition to LDV’s commercial-focused local line-up, sitting above its T60 ute, which is barely closer in size to the class-leading Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux at around 5.3 metres long.
The Terron 9 can be twinned with the MG U9, which was launched in Australia in 2025 after the LDV and brings cosmetic tweaks to the identical single-piece ladder-chassis body.
Each utes run a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, with the LDV’s official 163kW shading the U9’s 160kW output, though each share the identical 520Nm torque claim.
The important thing mechanical difference between the 2 is the LDV’s leaf-sprung rear end – just like the Ranger and HiLux – compared with the MG’s independent multi-link coil-spring rear suspension.
The warranty also differs, with the Terron 9’s seven-year/200,000km warranty applying to all customers, while MG specifies the U9’s warranty drops to 5 years/160,000km when the vehicle is purchased for ‘business use’.
The MG U9 starts at $52,990 drive-away for the primary of three model grades for private buyers, based on a Sydney (2000) postcode, and is topped by the $60,990 drive-away U9 Explore Pro.

Metallic paint – again, any color aside from white – is an extra $800 for all U9 variants.
Until January 15, 2026, U9 buyers can profit from $1000 in accessories on the time of ordering at no extra charge.
