The Land Rover Defender has been updated across its 90, 110 and 130 body designs, with subtle styling tweaks and improved tech being the changes made to the off-roader.

On the skin, the Defender’s bumpers receive optimised surfaces finished in either Silicon Silver or Carpathian Grey Satin. There’s also a brand new textured pattern for the bonnet inserts and side vents, while all models get Gloss Black Defender‑branded wheel centre caps.

Land Rover notes a gloss black grille bar is now standard and is complemented by a dark oval badge. Moreover, there are latest headlamps which have a revised signature (two bars on the side of the circle), while the taillights gain a dark tinted finish. The paint and wheel catalogue has also been expanded with more options.

Inside, you’ll discover a 13.1-inch infotainment touchscreen which is larger than the previous 11.4-inch unit. This completely fills the gap between the centre console and the upper surface of the dashboard.

The centre console also gets revised to include a sliding section to cover small items out of sight in a closed cubby, and occupants will still have access to the deeper stowage are beneath. Option the Signature Suite package and also you get removable side pockets in addition to cable routing paths to maintain things neat and tidy.

For the primary time, the newest Defender will be had with Adaptive Off‑Road Cruise Control, which mechanically adjusts the speed to take care of the specified level of comfort over undulating surfaces. As mandated by regulators, a driver-facing camera on the steering column enables the Driver Attention Monitor function to make sure that the person behind the wheel is being attentive to the road ahead.

Land Rover didn’t announce what powertrains will likely be available for the updated Defender, even though it confirmed that the Octa with its 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 making 635 PS will likely be one in every of the available options. The pre-update model was offered with a 3.0 litre inline-six turbodiesel, a 2.0 litre petrol plug-in hybrid and a 5.0 litre supercharged petrol V8.
