Musician, actor, and Audi A1 introducer Justin Timberlake was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated last night in Sag Harbor, certainly one of the towns that make up the Hamptons on Long Island, Recent York.

I Want To Go Electric | What Automotive Should You Buy?

In keeping with ABC News, Timberlake will likely be making a court appearance today regarding the costs. At this point, little else is thought in regards to the arrest, including the massive query: What type of automobile would Justin Timberlake be arrested in?

Statistically, BMWs have the highest rate of drunk driving. But would Timberlake really so quickly forsake the love shown by Audi all those years ago? Did receiving the primary A1 mean so little, that he would turn tail to perhaps Audi’s biggest competitor?

We’ll need to wait for more information to find out what Timberlake was driving — and whether he was, the truth is, drinking — but it surely seems even the wealthy and famous can’t escape the long arm of Recent York law enforcement.

Timberlake has shows coming up in Chicago and Recent York, but it surely’s not like big-name celebrities drive themselves around from venue to venue. It’s still entirely possible he’ll make those dates. Don’t quit hope, ticketholders.

Update 6/18/2024 5:34 PM ET: Sag Harbor police have released an announcement on Timberlake’s arrest, as obtained by Dateline:

Sag Harbor Police Chief Robert Drake said in an announcement, “On June 18, 2024, at 12:37 AM, Justin R. Timberlake, age 43, of Tennessee, was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to take care of his lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated by a Police Officer from Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Mr. Timberlake was placed under arrest, process, and held overnight for morning arraignment. Mr. Timberlake was arraigned on the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on June 18, 2024, at 9:30 AM where he was released on his own recognizance.”

Timberlake’s mugshot was released alongside the statement. In it, the flash someway narrows his pupils by covering the left and right edges, resulting in some kind of narrowed Githyanki shape. It’s type of a glance, truthfully. I’m jealous.

Essentially the most interesting fact out of the statement, though, needs to be the incontrovertible fact that Timberlake was arrested in a 2025 BMW. I suppose he forsook all that Audi history in spite of everything. How quickly the wealthy and powerful turn their backs on compatriots who were once so loyal.
