The last hints of winter in Thailand set the stage for an exciting automotive show in Korat province, two and a half hours’ drive from Bangkok.
Held on the golf greens on the Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club Khao Yai, the 2025 Landed Show – the second of its kind since debuting last 12 months – exceeded all expectations.
The event was born by friends who share the identical passion for cars – Keng Benz Dang, Stance Mania, Khub-Tie, Adap, and Garage N1. The concept for the Landed Show was first floated by our youngest member, and knowing that the owner of Rancho Charnvee also shared our enthusiasm for cars, we put two and two together. After meeting in person, it was clear that we were on the identical page, and securing the venue was a smooth process.
Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club’s immaculate golf course, with its 18 holes, presented us with several venue options. Nonetheless, we were immediately drawn to the seventh hole. Its scenic backdrop, proximity to the clubhouse, and, importantly, accessibility for low cars, made it the perfect spot for our show.
Nonetheless, once we returned home and commenced planning, we quickly realized how difficult the logistics could be. The event would incur various costs, from generator hire for electricity to stage rental. We knew we would want financial assistance. Nonetheless, having no prior experience organizing such an event, we were unsure the way to present our vision for the Landed Show to potential sponsors. In any case, any such event had never been done in Thailand before.
We made a straightforward presentation and approached our first potential sponsors, who signed up on the spot. While that was great, we hadn’t asked for much money – we would have liked more sponsors. This proved difficult as most businesses we talked to couldn’t picture our grand vision for the show. The reply? Photographing one among our cars on the seventh hole and using the pictures in our promotion. This made the event concept clearer to everyone, and shortly after, we began receiving the support we would have liked.
Landed Show 2024 was a giant success, drawing in a big crowd and leaving us with a way of accomplishment. Constructing on that we moved forward with Landed Show 2025.
This 12 months, the event saw much more interest, including guests from overseas, which was great to see. Our Malaysian friends drove up to affix within the fun too, and the general variety of participants eclipsed the primary 12 months’s.
Everyone feels the Landed Show is an exciting step forward for Thailand’s modified and custom automotive scene, and I can’t wait to see the way it evolves in the longer term. The event was also a pleasant teaser for Thailand’s biggest automotive event – the Impact Speed Festival – which is able to happen in June at Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok. Organized by 6Zero and Infinite Media and running over three days and two nights, the event will bring together key players within the local motorsport industry, plus automotive clubs, tuning shops, and automotive media.
