Chery has confirmed that the Tiggo 4 small SUV will develop into its fourth model available within the UK.
The Tiggo 4 shall be Chery’s first UK model with a CSH full hybrid (non-plug-in) powertrain, featuring a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.83kWh battery, with a complete output of 204PS.
Chery, the owner of the Omoda, Jaecoo and Lepas brands (the latter recently announced as entering the UK market this 12 months), began selling cars here under its own name last 12 months, with the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9.
It says prices for the Tiggo 4 will start from £19,995, and that the model will include a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty, plus an eight-year/100,000 mile battery warranty.

Full specs and range pricing for the Tiggo 4 are yet to be confirmed, with Chery saying details of those shall be announced in the approaching weeks. Nonetheless, the model is now available to pre-order via the brand’s dealer network.
Chery claims the model will feature ‘comprehensive safety and driver assistance technology’ as standard.
Elements of the Tiggo 4’s styling, comparable to the diamond front grille and signature LED lighting, are recognisable from other models within the Chery range.

Chery took a 1.56% share of the UK recent automotive market in February, with 1,406 registrations, based on data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
