Lamborghini has said that the V12 engine will stay in production well beyond 2030. “The horizon for us is even more than 2030 now,” Matteo Ortenzi, Product Line Director at Lamborghini, said at the unveiling of the Fenomeno at The Quail. Koenigsegg recently beat the Rimac Nevera R’s 0-249-0 mph world record. Now, Mate Rimac, CEO of Rimac Automobili, has vowed to challenge the record set by the Jesko Absolut. The other model was the Le Mans GTR, inspired by longtail racecars from the 1970s through to the 1990s.
