MONTEREY, Calif. – The master of monster EVs, Rimac, has added one other one to the books during Monterey Automotive Week. The Nevera R takes the fundamental idea of the regular model, but adds power and more to make it a fair more capable machine. The quad-motor powertrain within the Nevera R has been bumped as much as 2,107 horsepower from 1,914 in the fundamental Nevera. That also means it can hit 60 mph in 1.74 seconds, and it will do the quarter-mile in only 8.23 seconds, the latter being nearly 0.4 second faster than the bottom automobile. Top speed…
