Because the co-owner of a movie and tv vehicle rental company together with his father, Charlie Graovac has at all times been enthusiastic about cars. While he was never one for shows or meets, he did evenly modify among the vehicles he previously owned. Despite having never driven a Ferrari, Charlie’s longtime dream was to buy one as a gift to himself for his thirtieth birthday, after which customise it to his style. Initially, Charlie set his sights on a classic Maranello model, looking specifically for a 348. Nonetheless, he soon learned that ’80s Ferraris often include ’80s Ferrari issues…

RevWorks’ highly anticipated first major automotive show – RetroSpective – was one I couldn’t miss. Even when it meant a 700km (434mi) drive from Tief im Wald’s 10-year anniversary event in Germany back to the Netherlands. I left Oberhof at 8:00am, arriving in Brielle at around 3:00pm. That left just an hour and a half to try to capture every little thing. Given the sheer scale of RetroSpective, it quickly became clear this may be unimaginable. But I gave it a great shot! The RevWorks name is perhaps familiar to you – perhaps from my coverage of this 12 months’s Secret Garage Meet 2.0…

Although I missed Tief im Wald’s Heritage show last September, I used to be thrilled to return for the ‘Deep In The Forest’ most important event earlier this month – its tenth anniversary no less. As I discussed in my 2023 coverage, the concept for this gathering originated from a friendly BBQ with the Custom Junkys automotive club in 2014. A decade later, Tief im Wald is prospering and more vibrant than ever. This 12 months, Deep In The Forest attracted over 500 cars and around 5,000 visitors to a brand new venue. Germany is currently within the midst of a bark…

In case you call the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany home, and know anything about local street drifting scenes, there’s a great probability you’d have heard of the Skids and Tea blog. Around 10 years ago, friends Lars and Sebastiaan began posting photos and videos of their late-night street adventures in two Mazda MX5s. Often, these drives finished up with licorice tea at the tip of the night, and the name ‘Skids and Tea’ was born. While Sebastiaan eventually began specializing in other hobbies, Lars kept things going and Skids and Tea grew. By documenting his and his friends’ builds and after-dark…

I can vividly remember visiting ‘AutoRAI’ after I was in class. IAMS, or the International Amsterdam Motor Show (its actual name), was held on the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre and was a must-attend event for anyone taken with cars. Nevertheless, when big players within the Dutch auto industry began backing out, the show led to 2016. Ultimately, IAMS just needed a refresh, and it returned to RAI Amsterdam in 2018 with a brand new focus – supercars, hypercars and high-end custom and tuning corporations. Taking it one step further, the International Amsterdam Motor Show organisers contracted RevWorks – a neighborhood…

If there’s one event that actually encompasses the modified and custom automobile scene within the Netherlands, it’s 100% Auto Live. The 18th annual event returned to Rotterham Ahoy convention center within the country’s second-largest city last weekend, and I joined 1000’s of other enthusiasts from all around the Netherlands and beyond to examine it out. This two-day event showcases all elements of Dutch automobile culture. With an indoor display stuffed with all the pieces from modified street and race cars to supercars and lowriders, and an out of doors motion arena for burnouts, drift demos and drift taxi rides, there was something for everybody. 100% Auto Live has all the time been…
