Have you ever ever encountered a automobile at a show that completely blows you away, making every thing else feel a bit… extraordinary by comparison? Automobile shows are undeniably fun for anyone with a deep love for cars, but for normal attendees like myself, they will sometimes feel repetitive. Perhaps it’s the shortage of innovation, the predictable formats, or the customarily unfinished projects on display. With the latter, I blame social media, where sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content often overshadow the standard unveiling process. Despite doing multiple walks through the 2024 Oslo Motorshow back in October, it was towards the…
My aim with automotive photography has at all times been to capture all facets of automobile culture. Something I’ve desired to do for so long as I can remember is shoot Nineties Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) race cars in motion. This summer, I finally realised that long-time dream. Yearly, Bellahøj Park in Copenhagen hosts the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. As one in all the few events of its kind in Denmark, it attracts hundreds of holiday makers. One other special aspect is the paddock’s unrestricted access. Gatebil visitors can meet and interact with drivers…
On top of capturing all one of the best bits of Gatebil’s 2024 Major Event at Rudskogen Motorsenter in Norway, I had one other goal this 12 months: Riding in a pro-spec drift machine. Asking a random stranger if I might be a passenger is something that I’m bad at. But then I remembered – I even have loads of friends driving at Gatebil. I could ask anyone. With Saturday’s drift sessions in full swing, I stationed myself at that famous drift initiation spot on Rudskogen’s fundamental straight to pick a automobile. I say this yearly, but standing on this spot,…
