Adrian has appointed longtime executive Marc Jackson as chief executive officer as the corporate expands its lineup of pickup truck cargo management solutions.
The announcement was made during Work Truck Week 2026, where the corporate also unveiled latest pickup cargo systems designed to assist tradespeople organize tools and equipment in light-duty trucks.
Jackson succeeds Don DeLong as CEO after greater than three a long time with the corporate. He most recently served as Adrian’s chief operating officer and previously held roles including vice chairman of operations and general manager of the corporate’s Kansas City facility.
“Over the subsequent five years, we’ll give attention to several initiatives to raise the client experience and position Adrian for long-term success, including scaling our production capability and modernizing our company,” Jackson said in an announcement. “I’m excited to follow in Don’s footsteps and lead Adrian into its next chapter of growth.”
Under Jackson’s leadership, Adrian plans to expand manufacturing and installation capability as a part of what the corporate described as the most important expansion in its history. The corporate will nearly double its Adrian, Michigan production facility to 245,000 square feet and increase warehouse space to 87,000 square feet. Adrian also plans to double the dimensions of its Kansas City installation facility to 60,000 square feet.
The investments are intended to extend production capability while maintaining the corporate’s delivery speed and repair levels, in keeping with Adrian.
Latest Pickup Cargo Solutions
Alongside the leadership announcement, Adrian introduced two latest pickup cargo products aimed toward trade professionals who use pickup trucks as mobile work platforms.
The primary, the Open Bed Service Truck system, is designed to supply storage capability comparable to a conventional 8-foot service body while allowing tools and equipment to stay accessible from the truck bed. The modular system will be configured for various trades and is obtainable with Adrian’s five-day lead time.
The corporate also introduced a Roll-Up Door option for pickup truck caps. The design is meant for work environments where traditional barn-style doors may not fully open resulting from space constraints or where safety concerns exist. Adrian said the roll-up configuration provides improved security and weather protection compared with conventional door options.
The brand new door joins Adrian’s existing hatch and barn-door configurations as a part of the corporate’s pickup cap lineup.
Mike Filipiak, Adrian’s director of engineering, said the brand new solutions are intended to offer tradespeople more flexibility when upfitting pickup trucks.
“These latest solutions solidify our position as a one-stop shop for pickup upfitting, allowing expert tradespeople to customize their pickup trucks without stepping as much as a bigger service vehicle,” Filipiak said.
He added that the pickup upfit market is roughly twice the dimensions of the van upfit market, representing a major opportunity for the corporate.
