Many of the revisions to the automobile’s exterior are shared with lesser models. Essentially the most dramatic changes occur up front where there’s a brand new split headlight treatment, fake upper grille, and the substitute of the winged arrow logo by Skoda lettering.
The RS notably has a rather more aggressive front bumper design that features finlets for the side air intakes. Gloss black has been applied to the wing mirror caps, badging, air intake covers, window surrounds, roof rails, and lower rear bumper.
Aerodynamically-styled 20-inch are standard, but buyers can upgrade to 21-inch alloy wheels with “high performance tyres”.
To match its sporting intentions there’s a retuned suspension setup, and two-piston calipers for the front brakes. As there’s no mention of the rear brakes, it’s probably protected to assume the Enyaq RS continues with drum brakes there.
There’s also an optional adaptive chassis system, which allows the driving force to select from 15 different damper stiffness levels.
Although the outside has been refreshed, the Enyaq RS continues with the drivetrain it has employed since 2024, with a pair of motors driving all 4 wheels and developing a complete of 250kW. This enables it to finish the 0-100km/h standard in 5.4 seconds, and hit a top speed of 180km/h.
The battery has 79kWh of usable capability, and has a WLTP range of 562km within the crossover and 568km within the “coupe”. AC charging could be done as much as 11kW, while DC fast charging as much as 185kW is feasible.
Standard equipment includes matrix LED headlights, keyless entry, hands-free boot operation, and distant parking via a smartphone app.
There are two design themes available for the inside: Lounge employs a combination of faux suede and leather with lime green stitching and piping, and Suite has a mixture of real and fake leather with grey stitching and piping.
Each include a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel, 45W USB-C ports, sports front seats with integrated headrests, massaging for the driving force’s seat, and retractable sunshades for the rear windows.
The facelifted Enyaq range is scheduled to reach in Australian showrooms in August. While the local range is currently limited to the “coupe” in Sportline and RS guises, the updated model shall be available in each body styles and, likely, are a greater variety of trims.
