The 2026 KGM Musso ute has been caught without camouflage for the primary time, revealing various model grades ahead of its official unveiling and arrival in Australian showrooms.
Images posted by shorts_car on social media reveal the look of the new-generation Musso Q300, while YouTube commentator BPD has added further detail to the photographs.
Three model grades are shown, while BPD claims the Q300 will probably be offered in a normal short-wheelbase version in addition to a long-wheelbase variant.
KGM has not announced details including powertrains, equipment levels or pricing for the Musso Q300.

The automaker has confirmed the Musso Q300 is scheduled to land in Australia in mid-2026, in what appears to be its best bid yet against the Toyota HiLux and Ford Ranger.
The present Musso Q200 is obtainable locally in three equipment levels, all using the identical 133kW/400Nm 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The brand new-generation Musso, expected to be offered with petrol and diesel engines, has an exterior much like the fresh look of the Musso EV launched here in November 2025 as Australia’s least expensive electric ute.
It also borrows design cues from the mid-size Torres SUV, one other KGM model latest to Australian showrooms in 2025.

While the Torres and Musso EV use car-like monocoque construction, the brand new Musso is anticipated to adopt a ladder-frame chassis like key rivals, offering improved off-road ability, towing and payload capability.
It’s not yet clear whether it would proceed with the present model’s coil-spring rear suspension, where the HiLux, Ranger and most competitors use leaf springs.
The shorts_car social media images show an entry-level version of the brand new dual-cab ute finished in workmanlike white, with steel wheels and unpainted black bumpers, window surrounds and exterior mirror caps.
The side profile, including the bonnet bulge, matches teaser images released by KGM in September 2025 ahead of the worldwide reveal, expected to happen in South Korea.
There’s also a Ford Ranger-style plastic guard applique on the front doors of each vehicles shown, while the door handles and sloping roofline match those of the Musso EV.
Images shown on YouTube channel BPD also reveal ‘KGM’ stamped into the rear tray and a design much like the Musso EV’s, though with barely different tail-light treatment, possibly depending on model grade.
In what appears to be a leaked internal company presentation, BPD also shows what it claims are the Musso Q300’s tray dimensions, with a graphic indicating a width of 1570mm, height of 570mm and length of 1300mm – similar to the present Q200.
The long-wheelbase model’s tray, it says, measures 1600mm in length, while payloads are claimed to be between 500kg and 700kg. There are more anchor points, a bed liner, and LED lights for the tray area.

A better model grade is shown in metallic green, featuring larger 20-inch alloy wheels with low-profile road tyres reasonably than all-terrain rubber, together with a more complex single-piece front grille design.
In comparison with the entry-level model, LED lighting stretches the complete width of the nose, while taller integrated fog lights feature within the lower front bumper.
The white, lower-spec Musso appears to miss out on the integrated roof rails visible on the green example.
The Q300’s cabin will not be shown clearly in the photographs, apart from glimpses through the windows revealing a dark interior treatment for the white base model and a tan or coffee-coloured trim for the green Musso.

BPD also shows three interior detail images, revealing an electronic park brake, digital climate control displays, and a digital instrument cluster and centre screen.
The Musso EV’s interior offers the strongest clues to the Q300’s likely direction, with leather and suede trim available on higher grades.
A 12.3-inch centre touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and self-levelling rear suspension are standard on all Musso EV variants.
The Musso Q300 will enter a crowded ute market alongside a brand new Toyota HiLux, a brand new Nissan Navara – based on the Mitsubishi Triton – in addition to additional Ranger Super Duty variants and an expanded Kia Tasman line-up, all due in Australian showrooms in 2026.
