Brixton Malaysia has introduced the brand new Moucca 250 scooter within the local market, priced at RM12,888, excluding road tax and insurance. The 250-class scooter is on the market in 4 color options – Mint Green, Backstage Black, Clockwork Orange and Enduro White – with retro-inspired styling.
Powering the Moucca 250 is a 244 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine producing 24.5 PS at 8,250 rpm and 24 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Engine power goes through an automatic belt-drive transmission top the rear wheel.
Fuel injection is handled by a Bosch EFI system, while an electrical starter is standard with fuel capability at 12-litres. Suspension consists of telescopic forks up front and preload-adjustable twin rear shock absorbers, while braking is handled by single discs at each ends.
Riding aids include two-channel ABS and traction control. Wheel sizing is 12-inches front and rear, wearing 120/70 tyres at each ends. Weight for the Moucca 250 is listed at 130 kg, with seat height set at 750 mm.
A TFT-LCD instrument panel shows all of the vital riding information, and other riding conveniences include a keyless system and Type-A and Type-C USB charging ports. Backlit LED buttons are found on the handlebar pods and LED lighting is used throughout with cupboard space present in the front cowl compartments and under the seat, while Bluetooth connectivity is included for pairing with a rider’s electronics.
