Dodge is revitalizing the long-lasting Charger for 2025 by reintroducing gas-powered models alongside its latest electric variant. Following the launch of the electrical Daytona version later this yr, Dodge will unveil the Charger Sixpack, a nod to its muscle automobile heritage. Unlike the normal V-8 engines, the Charger Sixpack will feature two versions of the Hurricane twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine, offering either 420 or a formidable 550 horsepower.

The Charger Sixpack shall be available in each two-door and four-door configurations, catering to a variety of preferences. Production is about to begin in the primary quarter of 2025 at Stellantis’s Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada.

While some enthusiasts may lament the absence of V-8 engines, Dodge emphasizes the performance prowess of the inline-six powerplants. The high-output variant packs a punch with 550 horsepower, surpassing the output of previous V-8 iterations. Despite the shift in powertrains, Dodge assures that Charger owners will still find ways to enjoy the joys of driving, with standard all-wheel drive ensuring ample traction.

Visually, the Charger Sixpack retains the Charger Daytona’s design cues, albeit with distinct modifications to accommodate the twin-turbo engine. Notable differences include hood intakes for improved cooling and a restyled front bumper with enhanced aerodynamics.

Inside, the Charger Sixpack boasts a contemporary cabin with a variety of tech features, including a central touchscreen, digital gauge cluster, and customizable ambient lighting. The inside design pays homage to the Charger’s heritage, with retro-inspired elements akin to the “pistol grip” gear shifter.

The reintroduction of gas-powered Chargers signals Dodge’s commitment to preserving the essence of the muscle automobile while embracing advancements in automotive technology. With the Charger Sixpack, Dodge goals to uphold its legacy of high-performance vehicles for enthusiasts to enjoy.
