Chevrolet revealed the 2025 Corvette ZR1 in July, and while we knew it could be fast, we didn’t have exact figures until today. It seems that not only is it quick, but it surely’s also fast, with GM recently announcing a top speed of 233 mph.

Any automotive that may break the 200-mph mark is, after all, ridiculously fast, but to assist put that into perspective, 233 mph can be significantly faster than the highest speed of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, Mclaren 720S and Aventador S. We’ll still must see if the Corvette drives and handles in addition to its more exotic counterparts, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it does. General Motors may whiff on mainstream cars sometimes, but GM’s performance division normally knocks it out of the park. Just take a look at what it did with the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.

Now, that doesn’t mean the Corvette ZR1 will likely be low cost. You don’t get greater than 1,000 hp out of a mid-engine hypercar without spending the large bucks. Unfortunately for us, Chevrolet hasn’t talked pricing yet. Without dealer markup, though, the Corvette Z06 already costs greater than $100,000, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the ZR1 are available in closer to $200,00 than $150,000. And that’s not even accounting for dealer markups, which you’ll be able to only assume will likely be beyond ridiculous.

At the identical time, though, even for those who find yourself paying $250,000 for a Corvette ZR1, that’s probably still half or lower than the associated fee of an SF90 Stradale. Also, you almost certainly don’t must have spent anywhere near as much on Corvettes to get a ZR1 in comparison with how much you almost certainly must have spent on lesser Ferraris to even be regarded as a possible SF90 owner.
