As announced last month, the BYD Atto 3 has been refreshed for 2025, where the Prolonged Premium variant is now generally known as the Atto 3 Ultra. The all-electric SUV gets some minor aesthetic updates, and its pricing has also been revised. The EV is now priced at RM123,800 (nett pricing), and in the event you consider the RM5,000 rebate being offered to the primary 1,000 customers, the RM118,800 launch price brings it right up into Proton eMas 7 Premium territory.
These customers may also gain the extras that include the Ultra launch package, led by an eight-year free service package value RM4,888, which brings the full savings as much as RM9,888. Moreover, early-bird buyers may also get a free AC wallbox charger value RM3,699, a vehicle-to-load (V2L) adapter value RM988 and a Type 2 charging cable value RM1,796. As standard, the EV comes with a six-year/150,000 km warranty and an eight-year/150,000 km warranty for the drive unit (160,000 km for the battery),
Updates to the SUV are led by a brand new 18-inch alloy wheel design, which replaces the previous turbine-style unit, and a small change within the headlight, with the lower trim now in black in comparison with silver previously. The inside color scheme has also been altered, moving into an all-black presentation from the black/blue and dark blue/light grey two-tone combination seen previously.

The color of the piping and contrast stitching has also been altered, with the previous red being replaced by yellow. Because of this of this, the “guitar strings” on the door pockets aren’t any longer wearing red, switching to black in step with the remaining of the inside color scheme. The Atto 3 Ultra also gains ventilated front seats and a NFC digital key, which allows drivers to unlock and begin the vehicle with a smartphone or compatible device.
The remaining of the usual equipment stays unchanged, with the kit list including adaptive LED headlights, roof rails, keyless entry with an NFC key card, push-button start, single-zone automatic air-con, six-way driver’s and four-way passenger side power-adjustable front seats and fake leather upholstery.
Also to be found is a panoramic glass sunroof, heated side-view mirrors, navigation, a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Qi wireless charger and a 360-degree camera system. Elsewhere, the outside color palette now consists of three shades, these being Ski White, Harbour Grey and Cosmos Black, with Surf Blue omitted from the list.
Also unchanged is the electrical powertrain and its output, with the one front motor continuing to supply 204 PS (150 kW) and 310 Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to get from zero to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. The motor is juiced by a 60.48 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate battery, offering the Atto 3 Ultra a WLTP-rated range of 420 km.
As for charging, the EV supports 88 kW of DC fast charging, allowing the battery to realize a ten to 80% state-of-charge in 40 minutes. Maximum AC charging stays at 7 kW, with a full charge taking nine hours and 42 minutes.
Likewise, safety and driver assistance kit is as seen previously, with seven airbags (including a front centre airbag), ABS, ESC, traction control, EBD, hill descent control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, brake auto hold, autonomous emergency braking, front collision warning, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, rear collision warning, blind spot monitoring, door open warning and rear cross traffic alert.
